Learning as we go…
Our story
As a young mother of 3 boys I found myself ready to start working yet I still wanted to be around to be with my kids and watch them grow and learn important traditions and tools to life. We have a family of hard working farmers, however I never experienced farm life in my childhood except for visiting cousins farms on Sundays after church. My grandmother was such an inspirational woman when telling stories of life growing up bringing goods to market in the big city (Toronto) and staying home with her children teaching them so many skills. These many skills she of course passed down to her many grandchildren, myself being the youngest.
Moving forward to today, I started to want to share more of her skills and values with my kids and our community. She was always so passionate about her gardens therefore I started one of my own on our farm. Its been a privilege to learn as I go and teach my boys as well. This became the start to Mongolia Gardens!
Follow along with updates as we learn and give you some beautiful flowers from our farm to your table!

Picked with care
Most of our flowers are wildflowers that we did not plant. These include Dames Rockets a tall purple flower that can grow up to 4 feet tall. They have a dark purple 4 pedal flower but can also be seen as a light purple with white. Another one I add to most of my bouquets are the fields of wild daisies we have covering a large portion of our lawn.
So many flowers that grew here on our farm that I’m slowly discovering and has been one of my favorite parts of this journey. Beside is the full list of all the flowers I found this year that we did not plant!
